About The Gift Of Music Music is the gift that keeps giving, and this group is about giving awards and incentives to music loves who share their good tastes. It is a private group founded by Eli Taylor. How The Group Works You do not have to donate a prize to play, but to Challenge the Group there is a vetting process: First a majority of the group has to vote each Challenge above 85%, then a sponsor has to offer an award for the winner(s). However, if you sponsor your own Challenge, you don't need those initial votes to accept track enteries. How To Play Once invited, you might usually start by rating the existing playlist themes (aka "Challenges") as you see fit. Then go ahead and Add A Track to open Challenges for a chance to win; and if you're especially creative and want to control the playlist more, Challenge The Group with a theme of your own.

About the Pura Vida Music Club The Pura Vida Music Club is small online community of true music lovers from around the world. Our music club is a way to share new, classic, and under-appreciated songs with each other. It is a private group founded by DJ Sokrates—you can join once you've been invited by a member of the group. How The Group Works Each month every member submits a song for the Playlist that we are creating, based on that month's "Challenge" or theme. Once the Playlist is complete, we can all enjoy the music. Members can also rate the different songs on the playlist. Each month, the member who submits the song with the highest rating wins a $10 gift certificate for the iTunes Store. The winner also gets to select the Challenge (theme) for the next Playlist.
